About Rebecca Larson

Rebecca holds a deep passion for leadership development. She believes that ‘leadership is everyone’s business’ (Kouzes and Posner) and is driven by the opportunity to grow individual’s full leadership potential.  Rebecca recently launched a leadership book club in her community to engage others in her vision. At the start of her master’s program (2010), Rebecca co-created and delivered a leadership development program for public sector leaders. Delivering this program inspired Rebecca in shaping a love for the dynamic, relationship-oriented, and outcomes-based coaching process.  Rebecca has been coaching since 2011 including participants in the leadership development program as well as school teachers and administrators, business owners, and community leaders.  She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach through the Co-Active Training Institute and is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Rebecca is a consultant and coach and is using her skills as the Senior Training Specialist with Gonzaga University.  Prior to her consulting and coaching role, Rebecca worked in various positions in the nonprofit field including direct service as well as systems and community building positions.  Rebecca received her Bachelor’s in Sociology and Social Work from Pacific University in 1997 and her Master’s in Community Leadership from Duquesne University in 2014.

While balancing work and play, Rebecca lives in eastern Washington where she has easy access to forests, mountains,  and rivers.  Whenever possible, she is outdoors hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, walking, gardening, or simply marveling at the surrounding beauty.
